Candida Diet Baked Salmon with Broccoli and Quinoa: A Hearty Dinner to Support Gut Health

– 1 lemon, sliced

Instructions:

 

  1. Preheat the Oven:  Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

 

  1. Bake the Salmon: Firstly, place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Next, Drizzle with olive oil, and season with thyme, salt, and pepper. Top with lemon slices. Then, Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

 

  1. Steam the Broccoli: While the salmon is baking, steam the broccoli florets until tender but still bright green, about 5-7 minutes.

 

  1. Cook the Quinoa: Bring the water or broth to boil in a medium sized saucepan. Add the rinsed quinoa, reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until all the liquid is absorbed.  Then, Fluff the cooked quinoa with a fork.

 

  1. Serve: Divide the salmon, steamed broccoli, and quinoa between two plates. Serve immediately and enjoy a nutrient-packed dinner.
