When it comes preventing disease and improving your health and well being, there is a lot you can do yourself, but also quite a lot to remember when it comes to diet and nutrition. Relax, I’ve done some of the work for you already by creating a selection of tasty, heart healthy recipes. These are the recipes I’ve been making for many years, some have come from my family, some from practitioners while others from patients I’ve seen over the years.

The recipes on this website qualify as a big step in the right direction, especially if you want to prevent diseases of modern civilization including heart disease, diabetes and cancer. Even if you have one or more of these health conditions, you will be able to improve your condition by eating these kinds of foods. Most of my recipes feature brightly colored fruits and vegetables, plenty of lean animal proteins, whole grains, beans, nuts or soy products—foods containing abundant antioxidants, minerals and vitamins, beneficial bacteria as well as high levels of fiber.

I like to grow most of my vegetables and fruits and am lucky to have a nice garden and perfect climate conditions to be able to do so. Always use the freshest possible ingredients when you prepare your dishes and you have the space, climate and time then try and grow some food yourself. By growing your own fruits and vegetables you determine what you feed them and spray them with.
